Today is all about the pictures. They show the glory of what we saw but they cannot compare to being there.
This was the best day for pictures. The sky was blue and you could see the snow caps much better.
We were in Glacier Bay National Park. They put some Rangers on the ship to answer questions and tell us what we were looking at.
Say good by to
the Rangers.
You can not see it but the ice is blue as blue can be.
If you were looking at the 3 spots about a half a second before this shot you would have seen some Dallas Porpoise. They are black and white and look like small killer whales. This was in College Fjord; we also saw a hump back whale and her calf. As the small one dove we got the tail up and a wave. Too cool. It happened too quickly for the camera.I have a ton more shots but you have to leave them wanting more. Ok just one more.
