Back Home and working hard.

I have been in Vegas for a trade show most of the week. I got home Friday morning about 5:15am. I slept for 3 hours and worked the rest of the day. Had a good trip and got some leads, I hope they turn in to sales.
What you see in the picture above is between 5 and 6 tons of river rock. Looks like allot. We had 17 1/2 tons delivered on Friday. Deb and I spread the other 11 or 12 tons on Saturday.

This is not as easy as it use to be. We started about 8:00am and made good time.

I started taking the wheel barrow to the farthest point first because I knew I would be whooped by the end.

Deb started helping me shovel after the second side of the house. She sould see me waring down. I would roll 5 or 6 loads out and she would spread it out. We started taking a break after every 5 loads or so.
We finished up about 2:00pm and got cleaned up and relaxed for a while. Next weekend we will attack the rest of the rock. Last evening we went over to Dan and LaFay's house for a big celebration. LaFay graduated from Mercer yesterday, They celebrate their 20th anniversary today and Ashley (LaFay's niece that has been living with them for the last 4 years) leaves for the Navy on Thursday.
Well we have been keeping busy what about everyone else. Y'All need to blog.

Keeping busy

I've had a long and full weekend. The state trap shoot was this weekend at South River Gun Club. The club is located 2 miles from our house and even though I did not compete this year we had some friends that did stay with us. Friday Deb and I cooked salmon on the Big Green Egg for out guests. It was great!
Saturday I pressure washed the deck and patio to get ready to seal it in the near future. I then went to the gun club and watched the shoot. That evening our friends Roger and Christie took us out to dinner at Outback. It was good.
this morning (Sunday) I met my buddy John for breakfast and we went to Road Atlanta for the vintage car races. Had a great time and got a bunch of sun. Not bad for a weekend that was supposed to be raining both days.
